What the numbers mean.
Pay is context, not a quote.
Our wage references use BLS 2025 data published by O*NET for Receptionists and Information Clerks, SOC 43-4171. This occupation spans industries. It is not a dental-only pay survey.
National figures describe the United States, each state guide uses that state’s figures, and the Dallas guide uses the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metro. A metro estimate is not relabeled as a city estimate.
Median and middle 50%.
The median is the 50th percentile. The middle 50% runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile. A published annual median is separate from the worksheet calculation and may differ because the hourly rate is rounded.
Your hiring budget.
Annual base wages = hourly wage × paid hours per week × paid weeks per year. The initial 40 hours and 52 weeks are editable example assumptions. Benefits, employer costs, recruiting and cover are excluded.
A staffing budget is not an amount Rondah necessarily saves. No local turnover rate, service price, savings percentage or practice ROI is asserted.
